Congratulations to the candidate for completing the first phase of the 2024 Drawing Aptitude Test at Van Lang University

On Sunday, April 14, 2024, Van Lang University welcomed over 600 candidates from various provinces to participate in the first phase of the 2024 Aptitude Test, featuring four subjects: Figurative Drawing, Fine Arts Drawing, Decorative Drawing, and Theatrical Cinematic Aptitude.

The first phase of the 2024 Aptitude Test was divided into morning and afternoon sessions at the VLU main campus (69/68 Dang Thuy Tram Street, Ward 13, Binh Thanh District). Candidates can use their test results to apply for majors in Architecture, Arts, Design, and Theater and Cinema.

After finishing the exam, many candidates expressed their excitement and anticipation for favorable results. Le Phan Phuong Nghi (Ernst Thälmann High School, District 1) shared: "Despite having to arrive at school quite early to prepare for the aptitude test, I felt very happy to be warmly welcomed by the VLU’s lecturers and students. They thoughtfully provided snacks to support us. VLU welcomed us with 100 points of finesse!"

While the candidates were taking the exam, many parents waited anxiously in the waiting area. Mr. Nguyen Trung Tin, the parent of Nguyen Ngoc Bao Tran (Vinh Loc High School, Binh Chanh District), shared: “Our family left at 5 a.m to bring our daughter to the university's aptitude test. I have known about Van Lang for a long time, and the quality of the university's education over the years has given our family complete confidence in our daughter's decision to pursue Interior Design.”

At the Council for Theatrical Cinematic Aptitude, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Thi Bich Ha, Dean of the Faculty of Theater and Cinema, shared: “This year's exam has revealed many candidates with great potential and a good grasp of storytelling and cinematography. We have high hopes for this young generation; they possess passion and a readiness to commit to the path of national art.”

In addition to the direct aptitude test at the university, candidates can apply by submitting preliminary exam papers combined with an online interview, depending on the groups of the subject (Drawing Aptitude and Theatrical Cinematic Aptitude interviews on April 28, 2024; Music Aptitude interviews from April 20 to 21, 2024).
