On August 26th, 2022, the Student Success Center, associated with the Language Institute and the Faculty of Korean Language and Culture, organized the program “The Children Who Learned to Smile” for the third time at Ai Linh Love School with the theme ”Get to school.”

The program "The Children Who Learned to Smile" aims to support children in difficult circumstances living in the poor immigrant communities in Ho Chi Minh City. It seeks to share and alleviate these children's challenges to reduce the dropout rate and motivate them to attend school.
Through this event, the members focus on researching and developing activities related to their training majors to address social issues within the community. They aim to achieve the 17 sustainable development goals of the United Nations and contribute positive value to the quality of the school's community service activities.

At the event, the members of the Grassroots Trade Union from the Student Success Center, lecturers, and Language Institute - the Faculty of Korean Language and Culture, together with students at Van Lang University, donated 6 million VND to pay for the rental fee of the sports field for the students of Ai Linh Love School which, hopefully, could provide the best conditions for the students to develop their physical and mental well-being. In addition, Van Lang's lecturers and students also helped clean the classrooms, rearrange books in the library and repaint the school gate so that the students could welcome the exciting opening of the new school year on September 12th.

The majority of their parents are immigrant workers with low income , who are doing manual jobs with low and unstable wages such as workers, masons, etc..
