Commendation Ceremony Honoring "Five-Good Students" alongside with individuals and groups with outstanding sports achievements for the 2023-2024 Academic Year

On the afternoon of November 25, 2024, Van Lang University hosted a commendation ceremony to honor the candidates of the "Five-Good Students" title alongside individuals and teams with outstanding achievements in sports for the 2023-2024 academic year. This event celebrated the exceptional efforts of both students and faculty, highlighting the unwavering spirit of learning and contribution within the Van Lang community.

The "Five-Good Students" title is an annual initiative led by the Student Union, designed to encourage students to excel academically and holistically develop their skills. This prestigious national title serves as a milestone recognizing persistent efforts toward comprehensive self-improvement. Students who achieve this honor must excel in five areas: Good Learning, Good Ethics, Good Physical Fitness, Good Volunteering, and Good Integration.

At the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi My Dieu, President of Van Lang University, shared: “I hope that this achievement will serve as a strong foundation for you to continue training, developing, and becoming impactful individuals in society. Let this proud beginning be a powerful motivation for your journey ahead, shaping a bright future. Van Lang always aspires to nurture individuals who are not only professionally competent and ambitious but also globally minded, ready to become the 'future leaders' that bring Van Lang's image worldwide.”

In the past academic year, 214 Van Lang students achieved the title of "Five-Good Students" at the university level, while 473 students received the title at the faculty level. This achievement emphasizes the perseverance and self-improvement spirit of Van Lang students.

Alongside academic achievements, groups and individuals, including Van Lang lecturers and students, have left a strong mark in sports. Seventeen lecturers and eighty-two students earned outstanding achievements at the city, national, and Asian region levels. These victories not only enhance the University's reputation but also spread Van Lang's image to the international community.
