On the afternoon of September 18, 2023, Van Lang University's Faculty of Applied Technology hosted a discussion between the Dean of the Faculty and the students of Biotechnology & Medical Biotechnology Courses 26,27,28. This is an annual activity that connects the university and learners by receiving their feedback on school and faculty activities in order to develop an effective and progressive learning environment.
Dr. Nguyen Huu Hung, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Technology, Dr. Vu Thi Quyen, Head of the Biotechnology major, Dr. Cao Ngoc Minh Trang, Head of the Medical Biotechnology major, Dr. Le Thanh Dien, Lecturer of the Faculty of Applied Technology, Dr. Bui Hoang Phuc, Lecturer of the Faculty of Applied Technology attended the meeting with students from Course 26, 27, 28 majoring in Biotechnology and Medical Biotechnology.
During the meeting, Dr. Nguyen Huu Hung, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Technology, encouraged students to study and actively participate in school and faculty activities during the 2022-2023 academic year. Simultaneously, he expects that students will continue to be engaged and actively participate in scientific research activities in order to obtain more experiences for themselves.
Dr. Vu Thi Quyen shared: "Lecturers always encourage and create opportunities for you to learn and research during the learning process. Do not be afraid of asking lecturers to help and guide you. As a Van Lang University student, nothing is impossible." The Dean of the Faculty of Applied Technology expects that students will not only put more effort in studying, but will also be more confident and proactive, continually cultivating experiences and talents through school and faculty activities.
In the meeting, the lecturers of the Faculty of Applied Technology dedicated themselves to supporting students through learning and grading difficulties, as well as providing goals and ideas to adopt in order to create the Faculty, a stronger industry, and a greater student community. For the group of final-year students, the Dean of the Faculty specifically informed Course 26 about the conditions for implementing the Graduation Thesis as well as the conditions for graduation consideration. Lecturers are eager to teach the students how to access authoritative sources and visuals to help with their studies, research, and work in the present and future.
As an opportunity to directly discuss with the Dean of the Faculty, students of Biotechnology and Medical Biotechnology majors have expressed their desire to receive support from lecturers on issues related to student internships, proposing to add joint activities for all students of the Faculty of Applied Technology to participate in order to create close connections between students of all majors in the Faculty, thereby building extracurricular activities and learning sessions for students. With enthusiasm and positive recognition of the students’ contributions from the Faculty of Applied Technology lecturers, students of Courses 26, 27, 28 majoring in Biotechnology, Medical Biotechnology had the opportunity to open up and honestly discuss their questions and aspirations in a more comfortable and secure way when continuing the university journey.
We wish Van Lang University's Biotechnology and Medical Biotechnology students continued confidence and development. Wishing Biotechnology and Medical Biotechnology lecturers and students a new year full of energy and outstanding accomplishments in the 2023-2024 academic year.
