On the morning of October 19, 2024, the Faculty of Architecture at Van Lang University, in collaboration with King Loy Enterprise Co., Ltd., organized a field trip for more than 250 students to the factory located in the expanded Tan Kim Industrial Park (Long An). The goal was to provide knowledge and experience to aid in completing the Industrial Design Project in the third year of university.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Nguyen Van Banh, Deputy Director of Dang Huynh Company, expressed his joy and emphasized the important role of architects in building a modern nation. He inspired the students with heartfelt words, encouraging them to continuously learn and enhance their knowledge. He stated: “You are standing on the threshold of a promising future. Always maintain a spirit of continuous learning and diligent self-improvement. Transform the knowledge you have acquired into real projects, not just concrete and steel, but a harmonious blend of functionality and aesthetics.”

Representing Van Lang University, Lecturer Chau My Anh, Master Architect, and Deputy Head of the Department of Architectural Design, shared: “Students need to learn and observe based on real-life projects. This is an opportunity for students to directly approach unique and complex works. I hope this field trip provides you with valuable experiences, answers your questions, and helps you complete your Industrial Design Project successfully in the near future.”
Before concluding the trip, Master Architect Manh The Vinh on behalf of the Faculty Leadership, along with the factory's management, organized an engaging discussion for the students. They had the chance to interact directly with engineers and architects, asking questions about professional issues. The practical insights shared by experts offered each student a deeper understanding of the architectural profession and a clearer vision of their future career path.

The field trip provided students with a vibrant real-life experience, allowing them to effectively consolidate theoretical knowledge and apply it to their projects. These invaluable experiences not only supported their academic progress but also inspired great passion and helped shape their future career paths.
