Applied Literature Majors Meet Author Nguyen Phuong Dung

On December 20, 2023, the Faculty of Society and Humanities, Van Lang University, organized a talk show with the topic "Travel to stumble, Travel to grow" for Applied Literature students. The sharing of Nguyen Phuong Dung, author of the book "Japanese Dream'', has given students an interesting perspective on the journey to conquer the dream of studying abroad in Japan.

"On the journey to conquer your dreams, facing failures will create valuable lessons for you to identify your shortcomings, and then make changes and overcome them. We should equip ourselves with strong skills, learn to know what we want and recognize the best path to achieve our goals and dreams.", shared Nguyen Phuong Dung

The dreams and aspirations of youth will take us to new lands. In addition, dreams will create goals that drive us forward. By sharing personal stories and experiences, the author has imparted to students valuable lessons about effective planning methods and goals for each stage to gradually realize dreams. Through her 7-year journey of living in Japan, Nguyen Phuong Dung wrote the "Japanese Dream" to share with readers and students tips on securing study abroad scholarships, working and living in the Land of the Rising Sun.

The talk show ended in an intimate atmosphere between students and the author. Hopefully, the sharing of author Nguyen Phuong Dung has helped Applied Literature students gather useful lessons for themselves, paving the way to conquer their dreams in the future.
