On September 24, 2023, the Faculty of Korean Language and Culture held the “Annyeong Course 29” program to welcome freshmen to Van Lang University, equipping them with essential information to start a new school year.
At the beginning, Dr. Nguyen Thi Hien, Dean of the Faculty of Korean Language and Culture, provided an overview of the training quality and giving encouragement for Course 29 students to begin their new journey at Van Lang University, “With a team of prestigious lectures from leading Korean universities, integrated academic programs with modern technology, I hope all of you’ll be proud to be students of the Faculty of Korean Language and Culture. Hopefully, after four years, you'll use what you've learned here to create values for society. I wish you all a memorable learning journey at Van Lang University.”
At the event, lecturers of the Faculty of Korean Language and Culture provided detailed information about the training programs, learning paths, and special activities in the upcoming year. The torch-passing ceremony was the most eagerly anticipated part of the event. The traditional flame that lecturers have passed down to students from Course 27 and 28, now, the seniors will continue to pass it onto Course 29. Students from Course 29 will receive that passion and confidently represent the unique spirit and identity of their faculty.
During the ceremony, the Faculty of Korean Language and Culture awarded students from Course 27 and 28 for their excellent academic achievements in the past year. Especially, the top 3 Course 29 students with the highest entrance scores received honorary rewards from the Faculty’s Board: Huynh Ngoc Bich Huyen; Bui Nguyen Mai Anh; anh Ha Quynh Anh.
The welcome program is a meaningful activity, helping Course 29 students gain more useful information about the major, especially providing motivation for their upcoming four years. Wishing the Faculty of Korean Language and Culture students to always be youthful and enthusiastic while creating beautiful memories during their journey at Van Lang University.
