Each evening from November 7 to 11, 2024, the N2T1 auditorium at Van Lang University’s main campus lit up, immersing audiences in the emotional ambiance of four exceptional art programs. These events were entirely organized by students from Class 27 and 28 of the Faculty of Business Administration and the Faculty of Public Relations and Communication, as part of the Event Organization and Management course led by the Faculty of Business Administration.

Dr. Tran Duc Tai, Deputy Head of the Faculty of Business Administration, stated that the course's primary objective is to transform classroom learning into meaningful, practical experiences.

Dr. Tran Duc Tai, Deputy Head of the Faculty of Business Administration and lecturer in charge of the course explained the primary aim of the course: beyond equipping students with theoretical knowledge and practical skills in event management, the goal is not merely to fulfill course requirements, but to enable students to create events with profound human values and lasting memories throughout their 4-year university journey.

In alignment with this objective, 200 students crafted a vivid, emotional narrative through events focusing on cultural identity and national pride. Each event carried a unique message, contributing to the promotion of traditional culture and celebrating the noble values of humanity.

The series began on November 7 with the art performance “Sac Hong Thuong”, featuring carefully curated acts such as singing, dancing, theatrical plays, and a fashion show. The event honored women's beauty, strength, and silent contributions, especially mothers, in society.

Dr. Tran Duc Tai commended the students for their “thuc hoc, thuc lam” (learning-by-doing) approach and the high quality of the events, stating: “Each event stood out in its own way, with meticulous attention to the artistic performances and accompanying materials. Particularly noteworthy is the fact that the students successfully raised funds—not large sums, but sufficient to support their initial goal of contributing to charitable causes for the community.”

Profits from the events were partly or entirely donated to initiatives such as the Vietnam Breast Cancer Network, the S-Seed Foundation for children orphaned by the COVID-19 pandemic, and various orphanages and shelters. These meaningful acts highlighted the students’ deep concern for the community and showcased the compassionate image of Van Lang University students.

The event series not only provided valuable experiences for the participating students but also left a lasting impression on audiences and extended positive values to society

In addition to providing invaluable experiences for each participating student, the series of events left a profound impression on every attendee while spreading positive values throughout the community. By fostering a spirit of learning, responsibility, and a commitment to preserving and promoting national cultural identity, these activities have contributed to shaping a dynamic, creative, and compassionate younger generation. It is hoped that the values conveyed through these events will continue to resonate and serve as an enduring source of inspiration for future generations of students, encouraging them to collectively contribute to the improvement of society.
