The Institute for Computational Science and Artificial Intelligence (COSARI) at Van Lang University hosted a workshop on "RapidMiner software for medical imaging data analysis and AI modeling" on May 8, 2024, for the university's staff, faculty, and employees. The workshop is part of a series of initiatives to promote the use of artificial intelligence in scientific research and teaching at the university.

Emphasizing the importance of incorporating AI trends and applications into teaching and scientific research, particularly in the medical field, Assoc.Prof. Nguyen Thoi Trung, Director of COSARI, underscored the critical role of AI in achieving accurate disease diagnosis, developing effective and personalized treatment methods, and enabling advanced scientific research.

Dr. Nguyen Trang Thao, Head of the Laboratory for Artificial Intelligence at COSARI, delivered a detailed introduction to the RapidMiner software during the workshop. He guided the lecturers through the installation, demonstrated the software's core features, and presented real-world application examples of RapidMiner in medical data analysis.
