With the aim of expanding and enhancing collaborative relationships between Van Lang University and its regional partners, as well as promoting academic, cultural exchanges, and scientific research, on March 5, 2024, Van Lang University hosted a meeting to discuss and sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Adamson University (Philippines).


In her opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi My Dieu, President of Van Lang University, stated: “Van Lang University has welcomed over 800 international students from 27 countries through various exchange and short-term training programs. In addition to reaffirming the close ties between the two universities, today's signing of the MOU presents new opportunities for students of both Van Lang University and Adamson University in future academic activities, scientific research, and postgraduate education, laying the foundation for sustainable development.”

Priest Fr. Franklin Daniel Pilario, President of Adamson University, expressed his deep gratitude for the warm welcome extended by Van Lang University and reaffirmed the strong relationship between the two institutions: “The relationship between Vietnam and the Philippines dates back centuries, with the first Philippine trade ship arriving in the Gulf of Tonkin even before European merchants. Today’s collaboration further emphasizes the development of our bilateral relationship and provides an opportunity for both universities to share expertise and address challenges in education,” said Fr. Franklin Daniel Pilario, President of Adamson University.

In a spirit of positive and open exchange, Van Lang University and Adamson University shared their perspectives on building short-term and long-term exchange programs, organizing social activities, enhancing student welfare, and welcoming international students.
