The first Conference on pharmaceutical sciences - VLU PHARMA I 2024 - Faculty of Pharmacy

On June 26th, 2024, the Faculty of Pharmacy of Van Lang University successfully organized the first Conference on Pharmaceutical Science - VLU PHARMA I 2024. The event is not only a place for scientists, lecturers, and students of Pharmacy to exchange and share experiences but also an important stepping stone in the development journey of the Faculty.

VLU PHARMA I 2024 has gathered leading international and Vietnamese pharmaceutical experts and scientists to improve research capacity and update professional knowledge. The conference is also a forum to share updated scientific research, and development trends in the pharmaceutical industry, and create opportunities for research cooperation between the Faculty of Pharmacy and partners.

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Thi My Dieu - Principal of Van Lang University, expressed her pride in this event, especially the active participation of students of the Faculty of Pharmacy with quality poster reports. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi My Dieu emphasized the importance of interdisciplinary research and the connection between different scientific fields to solve complex health problems. PhD. Nguyen Thi Hong Huong - Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, also affirmed the significance of VLU PHARMA I 2024 in improving professional knowledge and updating the latest information for the Pharmacy community.

The conference took place with 1 plenary session and 2 parallel sessions, including 20 oral reports and 28 poster reports. The reports in the conference presented many fields of the pharmaceutical industry such as medicinal chemistry, medicinal materials, pharmaceutics, pharmacology, and clinical pharmacy. In particular, the Organizing Committee of the conference awarded prizes to students' excellent poster reports, to encourage the scientific research spirit of young people.

VLU PHARMA I 2024 is not only a place for academic exchanges but also an opportunity for scientists and businesses to meet, exchange, find partners, and expand cooperation networks, promoting the development of the pharmaceutical industry.

The first Conference on Pharmaceutical Sciences of the Faculty of Pharmacy (VLU PHARMA) ended successfully, marking an important step in developing scientific research of the Faculty. With the support and companionship of experts, lecturers, students, and partners, VLU PHARMA promises to become a prestigious annual event, contributing to improving the quality of Pharmacy training and research in Vietnam, and aims to serve community health.
