30 Years of Memories and Emotions - Launch of the Creative Writing Campaign on the Occasion of Van Lang University's 30th Anniversary

In celebration of Van Lang University's 30th anniversary (1995 - 2025), the University is launching a creative writing campaign, inviting submissions from faculty, staff, students, alumni, and former students on the theme: "30 Years - Memories and Emotions."

This is an opportunity for Van Lang University’s community to come together, reconnect with memories, and share deep emotions and stories that are tied to our beloved university. Meaningful submissions will be reviewed and published in the special 30th Anniversary section of the University website, with selected works also featured in the Commemorative Yearbook for Van Lang University’s 30th Anniversary.

Eligibility:

• Faculty, staff, and employees currently or previously working at Van Lang University.
• Current undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at the University.
• Alumni and former students of all Classes.

Each author can submit one or more works. There is no limit to the number of submissions.

Content Guidelines:

Submissions may include:

• Personal or organizational memories, emotions, and stories related to the learning or teaching journey at Van Lang University.
• Reflections, experiences, or perspectives on the University’s 30-year journey of establishment and development.

Format and Submission Guidelines:

• Genres: Open to all forms (prose, poetry, a photo/albums, journal entries, etc.).
• Length: Maximum of 1,000 words per entry (accompanied by illustrative images, if any, for written formats).
• Language: Vietnamese or English.

Submission Method:

• Send your entries via email to: truyenthong@vlu.edu.vn
• Email subject format: [VLU 30 nam_Full Name of Author]
• Each submission must include the author's personal information: full name, faculty/department/class, intake year, phone number, and contact email.
• Photos or supporting materials may be attached (if available).

Submission Deadline: Entries will be accepted until May 31, 2025.

Each submission serves as a meaningful piece of Van Lang University's collective memory, contributing to the celebration of its 30-year journey. This campaign is also a heartfelt opportunity for the VLU community - past and present - to share their stories, connect across generations, and inspire pride in a legacy that continues to shape the future.
