10th Congress of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Delegates of Van Lang University

On August 21, 2022, the 10th Congress of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Van Lang University, term 2022 - 2024, took place successfully, with the participation of 100 comrades.

The 10th Congress of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Delegates of Van Lang University is an important event to summarize and evaluate activities in the 2017 - 2022 term, electing the Executive Committee for a new term to continue developing the Youth Union and Youth Movement of Van Lang University. Attending the Congress were representatives of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union, representatives of the Party Committee, the Board of Directors of Van Lang University, and the University's officials and lecturers. 

At the first working session on the morning of August 21, 2022, 100 delegates were divided into five discussion groups. Delegates had a lively discussion and made many contributions to the Congress document draft. Most opinions agreed with the documents and said that the documents were carefully prepared and had many new points in the Youth movement's activities in 2022 - 2024. Also, within the framework of the working session, Congress elected 27 comrades with sufficient qualifications, qualities, and abilities to join the Executive Committee of the School Youth Union, term 2022-2024. 

At the second working session on the same afternoon, the Congress also elected the Delegation of Van Lang University to attend the 11th Congress of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Ho Chi Minh City, term 2022 - 2027, including 4 people. This group includes four comrades: Secretary of the School Youth Union - Chau Thoai Ve, comrades Tran Quoc Tuan, Tran Quang Hieu and Nguyen Ngoc Chau Bao Tran and 2 alternate delegates: Ngo Vuong Yen Nhi and Nguyen Ha Yen Nhi. 

The Congress also listened to the guidance of Comrade Truong Minh Tuoc Nguyen - Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union on the orientation of activities in the new term: "The Van Lang University Youth Union has many advantages in terms of facilities and receives support from the Party Committee. I appreciate the enthusiastic spirit of the students and all activities of the University Youth Union in the past 5 years. With a large force of youth union members, I hope that in the upcoming term, you will maintain your competence and continue to expand the scale of programs for city students, and find solutions to organize educational activities for union members better and more effectively." 

Continuing the heroic tradition, dynamism, and creativity of previous generations, we hope that the Executive Committee of the IX School Youth Union will demonstrate the highest leadership role of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Van Lang University, completing successfully the work of the Youth Union and the University's youth movement in the 2022 - 2024 term.
