It is a place to preserve the traditional values of the nation, the tangible and intangible cultural heritage of the Van Lang Education System.
The Museum (Traditional room) preserves some of the traditional values of the nation and the unique identity of Van Lang University over the past nearly 30 years. Through some tangible and intangible cultural heritage items of the University being preserved, conserved, and displayed, we can see the ideals of the original founders, who wanted to establish and build a compassionate university, oriented towards the nation's roots, hoping that students graduated from the University would all imbibe the principles they had for the younger generation: "Morality - Will - Creativity".
Each image, artifact of tangible cultural heritage displayed tells stories, serves as evidence for each period of the past, the present, and leaves marks for the upcoming future path, always "alive" in every breath of the Van Lang community.

The traditional song “Van Lang University” was composed by musician Cuu Phuc in 1995, and since then, the heroic melodies have echoed annually on important occasions of the University. Alongside, the traditional flag passing ceremony from seniors to juniors during the University’s Inauguration ceremony is also a beauty of heritage preserved through generations.
