The Group's Board of Directors' aspirations for the future have led Van Lang University to build a lean organizational structure focused on internationalization, ensuring the effective operation of technology application and applying digital transformation to the human resource management system and organizational structures. Through this process, Van Lang has become a center for research, creativity, and connections between individuals, organizations, and communities.

Once the university system under VLU is established, VLU will significantly contribute to shaping the identity of the comprehensive education system in Vietnam.

With a strategic vision, Van Lang will undergo a gradual and large-scale renovation while spreading knowledge, economic and human values to the community and contributing to society with talented people. The core and long-term mission of “Making a positive impact” is to make each university member become a very unique VLU, but with the goal of becoming a “desired university” in Vietnam and other regions.

Since then, Vietnam's education system has been built and developed on national and international maps. With the establishment of the VLU University system, shared responsibilities and values will be more synchronized and multi-dimensional.

Enhancing the effectiveness of the country's economic contribution

With the current speed of training, VLU has been sticking to the strategic goal of contributing to the development of the country’s economy. Through our journey, Van Lang is proud of the accomplishment, namely:

- Pay taxes and state welfare funds

- Create jobs, a steady stream of wages, and social security costs for employees.

- Create the circulation of goods, products, and services through business establishments (convenience stores, restaurants, advertising, etc.)

- Create a market for marketing and business knowledge in many forms: ideas, courses, publications, technology products…

Creating sustainable ecological values

In addition to the goal of creating a learning and living space, VLU has aspirations and strategies toward an ecological university model.

To create ecological space and ecological consciousness, create connections and mutual support between people and nature, and people with people. VLU not only focuses on creating a system of trees to protect the landscape, provide shade and decorate, and create a green lung in the heart of the city but also building a smart waste treatment system, reusing materials as well as natural energy sources, saving electricity, water, and other resources. The system of training professions of the VLU university chain is also aimed at promoting awareness of environmental protection and creating a green lifestyle for teachers and learners.
