Undergraduate Program Scholarship

Every year, VLU offers hundreds of valuable scholarships to new students and students studying at the University. This is a policy maintained to encourage young talents and promptly recognize and commend individuals with excellent academic and training achievements, creating conditions for them to be more motivated and pursue a favorite field of study.

Level 1: Full scholarship (100% of the full course fee)

The scholarship applies from the first semester of the course. The scholarship will remain in the next semester if the student simultaneously meets 2 conditions: the average academic score is 7.5 and the training score is 75. 

1. Quantity: 10 seats (from high to low until the quota is met). 

2. Subjects: Students entering the training programs of Van Lang University in 2022 and satisfying one of the following criteria: 

  • Achieve high results (first, second, third, or gold, silver, and bronze medals) in excellent student competitions, competitions, and tournaments at the national level or higher in the years from 2020 to 2022. 
  • Special achievements in the fields of culture, music, sports, scientific research, entrepreneurship, and creativity. 
  • The total score in the high school graduation exam in 2022 is 51.0 points (6 subjects/exam, excluding priority and regional points). 

3. If students meet the criteria for scholarship consideration, students need to submit an application for scholarship consideration along with the following necessary documents: 

  • Scholarship application form (download form here). 
  • ID card/CCCD (notarized photocopy) 
  • Admission receipt of Van Lang University in 2022 
  • Certificate of high school graduation exam score in 2022 (notarized photocopy) 
  • Provisional certificate of graduation (notarized photocopy) 
  • High school transcript (notarized photocopy) 
  • Certificate of merit/proof of achievements (notarized photocopy) if any. 

4. How and when to apply for a scholarship: 

  • Time: From 08-12/10/2022

Level 2: Partial scholarship (50% of the full course fee)

The scholarship applies from the first semester of the course. The scholarship will remain in the next semester if the student simultaneously meets 2 conditions: the average academic score is 7.5 and the training score is 75. 

1. Quantity: 20 seats (from high to low until the quota is reached). 

2. Subjects: Students entering the training programs of Van Lang University in 2022 and satisfying one of the following criteria: 

  • Achieve achievements in excellent student competitions, competitions, and tournaments at the national level or higher in the years from 2020 to 2022. 
  • Special achievements in the fields of culture, music, sports, scientific research, entrepreneurship, and creativity. 
  • The total score in the high school graduation exam in 2022 is 48.0 points (6 subjects,/exam, excluding priority points, region). 

3. If students meet the criteria for scholarship consideration, students need to submit an application for scholarship consideration along with the following necessary documents: 

  • Scholarship application form (download form here)
  • ID card/CCCD (notarized photocopy) 
  • Admission receipt of Van Lang University in 2022
